Ryder's eye Injury!!

Ryder had an accident on monday, he was running around with a marshmallow gun made out of pvc pipe that his grandpa made, he tripped and fell and landed on the gun with his eye!,he cut the inside of his eyelid and there was blood everywhere, i freaked out, i thought he had poked his eye out. it was a really scary experience, i grabbed both of my kids and drove ryder to the hospital. He was so brave and barely cried , I was crying the whole way to the hospital and he kept telling me he was ok, The ER Dr. told me he was lucky that he didn't poke his eye out and that the cornea and pupil were intact and that it would heal on its own but still sent him to an eye doctor the next day. We went home and he slept for 3 hours, when he woke up he wouldn't open his eyes at all. He was acting blind and Marc decided to film him. I took him to the Dr. on Wednesday and luckily everything was perfect and he told us it will take 7 to 10 days for his eye to heal. He is doing great and we are so thankful it wasn't anything worse. Danger is his middle name!! Here are more pictures of his eye.....

And his BIRTHDAY!!! our little boy is 3!!!

I got poo on me shoes!

Rrrasta Ryder

Ryder sat patiently for two hours while two girls twisted, pulled, and back-combed his long wavy locks into dreads. I think he looks really good but Nan thinks he looks like Sideshow Bob from the Simpsons. She'll warm up to them eventually. Everyone at the salon we did it at was amazed at how well he did and he got lots of compliments so hopefully Nan will warm up to them. I think Ryder looks awesome besides, dreadlocks go well with his wild and fun personality. Now we just gotta add some rasta style to his wardrobe and he'll jam like Bob Marley...Ya Mon!!!

Lately,,,,,,

It's been so nice to be a stay at home mom. I have enjoyed my boys, yeah it's hard, and I still need to get used to it, but I would'nt change it for anything. Marc is working hard to keep me at home as long as he can. Logan is almost 6 weeks old already. he weighs about 11 1/2 lbs now. He is growing so fast, and last night he slept for 6 hours straight! I finally got 8 hours of sleep! I really needed it. He is smiling now and is awake longer during the day. I still need to get Ryder potty trained, ugh! he is almost 3 years old, I'm starting this week, I bought the toddler wise potty training book, it should come this week, i will read it and get Ryder potty trained this week , this is my goal! It looks like it will be a nice week, it should be in the 70's all week long, I am so excited, I think I will take the boys to the zoo. Here are some pictures of our family enjoying the nice weather....

This was last thursday!, Snow melted in 24 hours. Crazy!

LOGAN CUTTER OSTLER

Our little boy is finally here, after 3 days of being in Labor and not sleeping at all , he was born Wednesday March 11, 2009 at 10:30 pm. He weighed 9 lbs 3 oz and 20 1/2 in long. We are so blessed to have him he is so cute and chunky. I was able to push him out and it only took 30 min to get him out, we were so worried because i had a c section with ryder and this was my last chance to have a baby the natural way. I feel so good, almost no pain and i am full of energy and my back pain is gone!! Ryder has been extremely great with his brother we thought he would be jealous and rough with him. but he is so over protective of him and takes really good care of him and bosses me around to pick him up or feed him. he is also so soft and kisses him like every minute. i am so excited for the months to come and to see him become best buds. here are some pics.................................

update

well i'm 38 and 1/2 weeks along, can't wait to have this baby, i had my baby shower last saturday and it was a lot of fun, i'll have to post pictures later. Last sunday i gave a talk in church. i was so nervous because i had never given a talk before. I made it really funny , it was on agency and a lot of things happened the week before that helped me pull it together. I had a bad day at Walmart the saturday before. here is my story...
I went to walmart by myself to pick up some last minute things for my baby shower . I was doing great on time and was really proud of myself to be moving so fast at this stage in pregnancy. I was able to get everything I needed plus some extra things for the baby. I saw a 7 drawer plastic storage bin on sale for $20 and since last month I had seen it for $32 I had to buy it, I could not pass up this sale. So here I am struggling to put this thing in my little shopping cart. I struggled a little bit but was able to get it in ok. I get in line to pay for my things and I asked the cashier if she can just scan the storage bin in my shopping cart without having to take it out because it was alittle heavy. She was nice and reached with her scanner and didn’t have to move the thing. I pay for my stuff and as I’m walking away I realized she had charged me 28 for the storage bin. I went to the customer service desk to have the price checked and hopefully have it fixed and get some money back, the line was long but I waited anyway, after 10 mi I got to the desk and a nice lady helped me, it took her another 5 min. to check the price and was able to refund the extra money they charged me. I was now 15 min. late to my sisters house. I got to my car finally and I had forgotten that I was driving my husbands 2 door hyundai hatchback. I panicked for a second and thought of taking back that storage bin and forget about it. But I opened the trunk anyway and tried to get this thing in. I could not do it. So imoved to the drivers side door and tried to slide it in to the back seat. It took me 5 min. of struggling but I finally did it. I close the door and put the rest of the stuff I bought in the trunk of the car. I was emptying the cart I realized I hadn’t paid for some fabric paint that was underneath the storage bin. I go back inside the store to pay for them and didn’t have to wait long in line to do so. I paid for them and headed back to my car again. I get to my car and tried opening the door and it was locked. My keys weren’t in my purse and I looked inside the car to find them sitting on the seat, yes I was locked out. What a day huh? At this point I am laughing, I can’t be mad, I then realized I had left the trunk unlocked, so I open the door and take a look and there is no way I’m going to fit in therewith my huge belly to get to the front seat to unlock the door, plus the storage bin is in the back seat. I thought well maybe someone will walk by with a child and I can ask them if they can have their child climb in the back of my car and unlock the door for me. 5 min go by, no one has walked by, I finally realize I can put the seat down and it would give me a little more room to reach the door to unlock it. I get in the teeny trunk and struggled a little but was able to re ach just far enough to unlock the door. I can only imagine what people were thinking at the walmart parking lot. What is this pregnant lady doing in there! I finally get in my car and start driving I’m doing great until I realized I am driving northbound on 1 15 instead of southbound. I laughed so hard I cried!
I have the flu right now, and had a high fever last night , i had to go to the hospital and they kept me overnight and discharged me today at noon. i feel so sick, the worse part is that i'll have to go back to the hospital anyday between now and 2 weeks to have this baby. i hate being at the hospital. come what may and love it right? almost there!

Can't Breathe!

I finally got a day off from work. I have a lot to do to get ready for this baby!, so much cleaning and organizing and absolutely no energy! I am 35 weeks now and can't wait for this to end. Our baby does not have a name yet! yeah  i know, we're slackers. By the way, I had an ultrasound earlier this week and the baby's head is down in my pelvis, like really down there, no wonder i've been having leg pain and my hips kill! he has a lot of hair, and he has big cheeks, yes the Bernabe cheeks. His heart was great, no skipping beats so we are not worried anymore. I am going to try to deliver this baby naturally, but the Dr. is only giving me until March 13 to do so, if he doesn't come on his own by then, I will have a C-section on friday the 13th! I really do want to experience natural labor, i'm not afraid I just want to get it over with. I am getting so excited for him to come and join our little family. I am still working full time and will probably do so until the end. I really can't complain much about this pregnancy because it is way better than Ryders. Heart burn is a daily thing but again not as bad as the last one. We've all been a little stressed out with my Brother in Law Ron's surgery, he had a tumor around his pancreas and it took 11 hours of surgery to remove it! He is in Intensive Care right now and they are keeping him sedated at least until tomorrow. This is so his body can rest and not work so hard. We are all praying for him and ask everyone to please do so as well. Poor guy he is going to be in a lot of pain when he wakes up. I work at the hospital so I'll be able to visit him during my lunch breaks and hopefully keep him some company since he has to stay for 2 weeks. I hate being in the hospital it is so boring so I feel for him.
Here are some recent pics of us.

it's been a long long time!

well, I am at work, so i'm not going to post everything that has gone on in the past 3 months. I am 33 weeks pregnant and i am doing fine. The baby is having some type of arrhythmia which is the same problem ryder had in the womb but it went away as soon as he was born. The doctor is not concerned and truly i'm not either, I am scheduled for an ultrasound next monday! i have about 6 weeks left until this little one comes along. Believe it or not Marc and I have not sat down to think of names for this baby, and now i'm starting to get stressed out. There is so much to be done but I have no time to do anything with working a full time job, taking care of Ryder and Marc. I am exhausted but hanging in there! My grandma Rita (my mom's mom) came to visit for Christmas, it was so good to see her and my aunt issa and her son Raul. I had not seen them for almost 9 years! it's crazy. I reconnected with them and I feel like I have a closer and better relationship with my grandma. The best part is that she got baptized about 4 or 5 years ago and is going strong. both my aunt and gma have great testimonies of the church and that makes me extremely happy. It was a little hard to spend a lot of time with them because I had to work and my brother and sis in law were in town for the holidays too, so I always felt guilty for not hanging out with them and then not hanging out with my grandma, it was really hard, but hopefully everyone left happy. I will post more pics this week, my sis Elsie is going to help me update my blog. I'm excited. Keep checking my blog don't give up on me!
